Native American construction: building with Tribal Nations across the Southwest
These buildings serve communities with rich histories and futures worth investing in. Tribal projects deserve partners who listen first and build second.
We've served as general contractor for more than 30 projects across eight tribal nations in Arizona and California—government, gaming, hospitality, healthcare, education, housing, retail, cultural, utility, and infrastructure. Our partnerships include the Ak-Chin Indian Community, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, Fort Mojave Indian Tribe, Gila River Indian Community, Yavapai-Apache Nation, Picayune Rancheria of Chukchansi Indians, Tachi-Yokut Tribe, and Elk Valley Rancheria.
Building for tribal-nation clients is its own discipline. Every project sits inside the framework of tribal sovereignty. Procurement through tribal councils and enterprise boards. TERO hiring preference and workforce coordination. BIA review on leased and trust lands. For gaming work, NIGC and tribal-state compact requirements under IGRA. Cultural centers and repositories carry their own protocols and, where applicable, NAGPRA considerations. We plan for those in preconstruction—not mid-schedule.
