The 158,930 SF Regal Irvine Spectrum renovation included a completely new, state-of-the-art entrance and lobby featuring LED and digital signage; a new bar; a Lavazza coffee shop; a B-Fresh smoothie shop, and the latest laser projection technology and sound enhancements in all auditoriums. The project also added Premium experiences including IMAX’s most advanced theatre experience; a Pepsi 4DX auditorium where the on-screen visuals are enhanced through special effects including motion-synchronized seats, wind, fog, rain, lightning, snow, bubble, vibration and scents; a ScreenX auditorium with panoramic format that creates an immersive, 270-degree viewing experience; and a Regal Premium Experience (RPX) auditorium with Dolby Atmos surround sound, laser projected images in a custom-built premium environment.
